Saint Paul Catholic School prides itself on offering a top quality faith-based education to all its students. Our students consistently score well in the Indiana state standardized tests, ISTEPs. Our current scores are available on the Indiana Department of Education website.
Our curriculum meets or exceeds all state standards. Core subjects meet daily including
- Language Arts,
- Math,
- Science, and
- Social Studies.
Field trips are an integral part of our curriculum. These educational trips are planned by the teachers so that they will supplement the students’ classroom learning experiences.
Our primary grades (K-3) have classroom aides assisting in the classrooms. Grades 4 and 5 have aides part-time in their classrooms.
The students in grades 6 through 8 have their classes based on a middle school concept with lockers, homerooms, and changing of classes according to the subject matter. Middle School and 5th grade students have the opportunity to participate in band or orchestra offered by the Valparaiso Community School Corporation.
