Applications are on a rolling basis. If a grade level is at capacity, prospective students will be placed on a waiting list.
How does the school communicate with parents?
SPCS uses Fast Direct, an online tool that allows parents to view grades, attendance records, class lists, and more. Faculty and parents also use Fast Direct to send and receive messages.
Every Thursday, each family receives a white envelope containing news of upcoming events, Scrip transactions, field trip forms, and other news.
Each week, the school publishes The LINK, an e-newsletter full of news, events, and recognition.
Parent/Teacher conferences are held once a year. Parents can also request an appointment with a teacher to discuss their child’s progress as needed.
Mrs. Scupham, the school principal, has an open door policy, and welcomes an open dialog with parents.
Our smartphone app is the primary form of communication and provides ease of access to information in addition to push notifications. FastDirect is our online grade book and staff/parent communication system. The Link is our weekly newsletter with Facebook as an additional communication source.
